

Tam-Tikka Butter Chicken with Naan
A simple easy to prepare blend of African and Indian cuisine.
Ingredients

Full chicken or Chicken breasts

Olive Oil
-
Paprika about 1.5 teaspoons

Curry Powder or Cumin about 2 teaspoons

Salt
-
Onions
-
Garlic
-
Garam Masal about 2 teaspoons

Ginger (preferably pounded or grated)
-
Butter about 80g
-
Chopped tomatoes
-
Yoghurt/ Cooking cream/ Coconut Milk about 300ml

Garnish Dania/ Parsley
-
Naan Bread
-
Lemon Wedges.
Method
Chicken will give the best results with this recipe.

Do a mixture of your olive oil, salt and paprika. You can add other favorable spices of your choice diligently.

Dip you chicken thighs in the mixture and ensure it's evenly spread.

Depending with preference, You can choose to have your chicken sliced or just in whole; Pan-fry to add some flavor into it as well as for easier cooking later.

Now prepare your onion, garlic and ginger then fry them in some butter.

Add your tomatoes, blended, then let them cook to readiness then add some yoghurt/ cooking cream or coconut milk to create a cremier sauté.

Simmer for about 2 minutes then add your chicken.

Add-in some chicken stock to get some gravy then continue simmering on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.

Adjust your seasoning, at this point it should be ready.

Add your garnish dania or parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
