

Tam-Tikka Chicken Stew
Speaking of a healthy meal with no additives and totally nourishing!
Ingredients

500G Chicken with bones, curry cut pieces

2 Medium sized onions, Chopped

2 Green chilies
-
1 Red chili
-
2 Medium sized tomatoes, chopped

2 Medium diced potatoes
-
2 Teaspoons of ginger garlic

200ml Coconut milk
-
¾ Teaspoon salt
-
½ Teaspoon crushed pepper
Method

Place your chicken in a bowl.

Add to it salt and crushed pepper then mix very well and set it aside for about 30 minutes allowing it to marinate.

Heat about 3 tablespoons of oil, add the onions and fry them for about 3 minutes on medium heat till translucent.

Add your green and red chilies and continue frying for a minute then add your ginger garlic paste and allow to fry for 2 minutes on medium heat.

At this point, pour in your chicken, stir well and fry for about 5 minutes on medium heat till the chicken is evenly brown.

Pour in your diced potatoes, chopped tomatoes and stir to mix well.

Add about ¼ teaspoon salt to taste then continue stirring to even it out.

Cover and allow it to cook for about 3 minutes on low heat.

Now pour in your coconut milk, mix well and bring to boil, then cover and allow to cook for about 20 minutes on low heat.

Add about ¼ teaspoon of pepper and squeeze your lemon for the lemon juice then add your chopped coriander about 2 tablespoons, mix and let it simmer for about 1-2 minutes on low heat.

Your meal is now ready to serve.
